Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Executive Purchase role located in the Pune Division. The Executive Purchase is responsible for managing end-to-end procurement activities, including processing purchase requisitions, preparing and tracking purchase orders, and ensuring timely delivery of materials and services. The role involves evaluating suppliers, negotiating prices and terms, and maintaining relationships that support Akshayakalpa’s sustainability and quality standards. Daily tasks include coordinating with internal departments to understand requirements, monitoring inventory levels, and updating purchase records and reports in alignment with company policies. The Executive Purchase also supports cost optimization, compliance with organic and ethical sourcing norms, and continuous improvement of purchasing processes.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Purchase Orders and Purchase Requisitions, including creation, review, and tracking.
- Candidates should possess skills in Purchase Management and Procurement, with experience in vendor evaluation, negotiation, and sourcing.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with suppliers, internal teams, and other stakeholders.
- Relevant experience in supply chain or procurement within FMCG, dairy, or agricultural sectors is beneficial.
- Working knowledge of ERP or procurement software and good MS Excel skills is preferred.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is an advantage.
- Attention to detail, strong analytical abilities, and commitment to ethical and sustainable purchasing practices are essential.
