This is NOT a traditional EA role.

- This is a high-ownership, multi-hat role at the intersection of Digital, AI, Business Development, Personal Brand, PR, Strategy and Growth.
- You will work directly with the Founder & CEO on identifying business opportunities, researching potential clients, initiating conversations, managing strategic outreach, building personal and company visibility, exploring speaking and PR opportunities, and helping turn ideas into action.
- If you are good at what you do and grow with the role, the long-term opportunity is to become a trusted right-hand person to the CEO, taking increasing ownership of strategic and business initiatives.
What will you be responsible for?
1. Business Development & Opportunity Creation – 25%+ of the role
- Continuously identify potential clients, companies, CXOs, founders, industries and business opportunities.
- Research and build targeted prospect lists.
- Manage LinkedIn outreach and relationship-building.
- Initiate conversations with potential clients and opportunities.
- Research prospects before conversations and understand their business, digital presence and potential requirements.
- Handle initial discussions with selected prospects and, over time, become comfortable representing the CEO.
- Qualify opportunities and prepare concise briefs before the CEO gets involved.
- Follow up on opportunities and ensure conversations move forward.
- Identify relevant partnerships, collaborations and strategic opportunities.
2. CEO & Prospect Intelligence
- Research companies, founders, CXOs, industries and markets relevant to our growth plans.
- Take initial calls with selected inbound prospects.
- Understand their business challenges, requirements and expectations.
- Prepare opportunity summaries and recommendations for the CEO.
- Maintain clear follow-ups and next steps across opportunities.
3. Digital, AI & Growth Strategy
- Stay updated on developments in AI, Digital, Technology, Marketing, Ecommerce and Business Transformation.
- Research new AI tools, trends, platforms and business applications.
- Identify industries and opportunities where Kwebmaker or the AI practice should build visibility.
- Assist in developing campaigns, initiatives and strategic ideas.
- Work with the CEO to turn ideas into actionable plans.
- Coordinate with Kwebmaker's internal teams and external partners to execute initiatives.
4. Personal Brand & Social Media
- Help build and grow the CEO's personal brand.
- Research relevant topics, trends, news and industry conversations.
- Work with the CEO on LinkedIn content and thought leadership.
- Manage LinkedIn outreach, engagement and follow-ups.
- Assist with personal social media initiatives.
- Coordinate with internal content, design, SEO and social media teams.
- Track what is working and help continuously improve the approach.
5. PR, Speaking, Awards & Industry Visibility
- Identify relevant conferences, CXO forums, webinars, podcasts and speaking opportunities.
- Research meaningful awards and recognition opportunities.
- Assist with award and speaking submissions.
- Coordinate with PR agencies, event organisers and industry communities.
- Maintain a calendar of speaking, PR and visibility opportunities.
- Identify opportunities where the CEO or Kwebmaker should be present and visible.
6. Strategic Coordination & Execution
- Work closely with the CEO on ongoing strategic initiatives.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners.
- Track action items, deadlines and follow-ups.
- Take ownership of projects from idea to execution.
- Be comfortable handling different types of work as priorities evolve.
- Basically, be willing to wear different hats and do whatever is required to move an important initiative forward.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for someone with 3+ years of experience, preferably from a:
- Digital agency
- Digital marketing company
- Technology / SaaS company
- Digital consulting environment
- Brand / marketing organisation
- Client servicing / strategy role
- Business development role within the digital ecosystem
You don't need to be an expert in everything.
But you must be digitally savvy, curious and commercially aware.
You should have:
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confidence speaking with founders, CXOs, senior marketing and business professionals.
- Good understanding of the Digital / Marketing / Technology ecosystem.
- Genuine interest in AI and how it is changing businesses.
- Strong research and analytical abilities.
- An entrepreneurial and business-oriented mindset.
- The ability to identify opportunities rather than simply execute instructions.
- Excellent follow-through and organisational skills.
- The ability to handle multiple priorities.
- A proactive, positive and energetic personality.
- The confidence to ask questions, learn quickly and take ownership.
Most importantly...
We are looking for someone who wants to grow with the role.
Someone who enjoys learning new things.
Someone who doesn't say:
"That's not my job."
but instead thinks:
"How can I help get this done?"
You will be working directly with the Founder & CEO, so maturity, discretion, professionalism, curiosity and a good personality are extremely important.
What this role is NOT
This is not a traditional Executive Assistant / Secretary role.
It is not primarily about managing calendars, booking meetings or travel.
It is also not a pure sales, social media or marketing role.
It is a founder-facing, multi-disciplinary role combining:
Digital + AI + Business Development + Brand + Research + Strategy + Execution
You will get exposure to how a digital business is built, how businesses identify and acquire clients, how a founder builds a personal brand, how AI is changing businesses, and how strategic opportunities are identified and converted.
