Mandatory skills SAP Tax expert with S/4 Hana expertise. Experience in tax configuration is mandatory
Location: Bangalore, India
5 days work from office
12+ years of deep functional experience in SAP Tax configuration in S/4HANA (VAT, GST, Sales & Use Tax, WHT, etc.).
- Strong expertise in tax engines, including integration architecture.
- Proven experience in global SAP rollouts with complex, multi country tax requirements.
- Hands on experience in indirect tax reporting, statutory reporting, and e Invoicing frameworks.
- Strong understanding of cross module tax integrations with SD, MM, FI, and procurement solutions.
- Ability to design, troubleshoot, and optimize tax configurations and complex tax flows.
- Strong documentation capabilities (functional specs, test scripts, process maps).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in a global, cross cultural environment.
- Ability to work independently under tight timelines and deliver high quality outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SAP Central Finance, SAP Public Cloud Tax Service, or regional tax-localization frameworks.
- Exposure to continuous compliance platforms (e.g., Peppol, ClearTax, Pagero).
- Knowledge of emerging digital tax regulatory trends (real time reporting, e audits, continuous transaction controls).
