Role Description The Event Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Kolkata. This role is responsible for supporting end-to-end event planning and execution, including coordinating with clients to understand requirements, creating event timelines, and managing checklists. The Event Coordinator will liaise with vendors, venues, and internal teams to arrange décor, catering, audio-visual needs, and other logistics. Day-to-day tasks include handling client communication, preparing proposals and budgets, tracking event progress, and ensuring all arrangements meet quality and safety standards. The position also involves being on-site during events to oversee setup, manage schedules, respond to issues, and ensure a smooth guest experience.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Event Planning and Event Management skills, with experience coordinating multiple projects and deadlines.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to interact with clients, vendors, and guests professionally.
- Candidates should possess Sales-related skills, including the ability to present event concepts, prepare quotations, and support lead generation and conversions.
- Candidates should preferably have strong organizational and time-management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Candidates should ideally have prior experience in events, hospitality, or related fields; a relevant diploma or degree is an advantage.
