Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented HVAC Estimation Engineer to prepare accurate project estimates, BOQs, quotations, and cost calculations for HVAC projects. The candidate should have good knowledge of HVAC systems, project drawings, material requirements, and estimation processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare cost estimates, BOQs, and quotations for HVAC projects.
- Study HVAC drawings, layouts, specifications, and tender documents.
- Calculate quantities for ducting, piping, insulation, AHU, FCU, VRF/VRV, chillers, ventilation systems, and related equipment.
- Prepare material take-offs and verify quantities from drawings.
- Obtain and compare quotations from suppliers and vendors.
- Prepare techno-commercial proposals and project costing.
- Coordinate with design, procurement, sales, and project execution teams.
- Conduct site visits to understand project requirements when required.
- Maintain estimation records and update cost databases.
- Support the sales and project teams with technical and commercial inputs.
Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in HVAC estimation / project costing.
- Good knowledge of HVAC systems and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret HVAC and MEP drawings.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Excel.
- Knowledge of BOQ preparation, material take-off, and cost estimation.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Good coordination and follow-up skills.
- Experience in commercial, industrial, residential, or large-scale HVAC projects.
- Knowledge of ducting, piping, VRF/VRV, chillers, AHU, FCU, ventilation, and HVAC accessories.
Experience: 1 - 5 years
