We are seeking applications and nominations for an expert in
Environmental Health with a focus on Environmental Epidemiology. This specialized role is designed for an environmental health researcher who operates on the cutting edge of environmental epidemiology and climate-health research with experience in the human health impacts of climate change, environmental toxicology, environmental exposure assessment and modelling, and quantitative health-risk assessment.
The ideal candidate will utilize a One Health framework … and incorporate quantitative exposure modelling using approaches such as remote sensing, spatial statistics, GIS, and refined exposure assessments to estimate individual- and population-level exposures and doses, and link these with toxicity, exposure-response/dose-response relationships, and human health outcomes.
Note: This position focuses specifically on the intersection of human health and the environment. Candidates whose research focuses primarily on environmental monitoring, pollutant characterization, environmental engineering, or environmental science without a substantive focus on human exposure, dose, toxicity, and health outcomes are not eligible.
Qualifications: PhD or equivalent doctoral degree (e.g., DrPH, ScD) in Environmental Epidemiology, Environmental Health, or a closely related quantitative discipline. Strong publication track record. Senior applicants would require a funding track record.
