SG Decor is looking to appoint an Entrepreneur-in-Residence / Operating Partner to lead and build our Execution & Project Delivery vertical.
This is a leadership and business-building role, intended for an experienced professional from the turnkey interiors / interior contracting & fit-out ecosystem.
Role Mandate
The Operating Partner will have end-to-end responsibility for building and managing the execution function, including:
• Project acquisition and client relationships
• Project planning and execution
• Building and managing the execution team
• Vendor and subcontractor network
• Site operations and project delivery
• Project costing, productivity and profitability
• Quality, timelines and client satisfaction
• Developing and implementing execution processes
• Building the execution vertical to a sustainable and scalable business
What SG Decor Provides
The partner will operate within an established business platform with:
• Existing corporate structure and statutory compliance
• Office infrastructure
• Factory and machinery infrastructure
• Finance, accounts, HR and administrative support
• Procurement and commercial support
• Existing systems, SOPs and operating processes
• Established industry experience and business relationships
The objective is to allow the Operating Partner to focus primarily on business development, execution, team building and profitability, rather than spending time and capital building the underlying corporate infrastructure.
Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for a senior professional who:
• Has significant experience in turnkey interior execution / contracting
• Has independently managed multiple projects and teams
• Understands project commercials and profitability
• Has strong client, vendor and subcontractor relationships
• Can build and lead an execution team
• Has demonstrated ownership and accountability in previous roles
• Is commercially disciplined and comfortable working with performance metrics
• Has the intent and capability to operate at an entrepreneurial level
This is not a conventional employment role. The engagement is intended to develop into a long-term operating partnership, with performance-linked economic participation and a potential path to equity ownership.
