Role Description
- The English Teacher – IB & Cambridge will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality English lessons aligned with IB and Cambridge curricula to middle and senior school learners.
- Day-to-day tasks include creating engaging lesson plans, preparing assessment materials, evaluating student work, and providing constructive feedback to support language development and critical thinking.
- The role involves differentiating instruction to meet diverse learning needs, integrating reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills, and using a variety of teaching resources and methodologies.
- The teacher will collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning, participate in school events, attend professional development sessions, and maintain clear communication with parents and guardians regarding learner progress.
- This is a full-time, on-site role based at Kothari International School in Noida.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in English Teaching and Teaching, with demonstrable experience in IB and/or Cambridge curricula.
- Candidates should possess effective Lesson Planning and Education-related skills, including curriculum alignment and assessment design.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, for interacting with learners, families, and colleagues.
- Relevant academic qualifications such as a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Education, or a related field, along with a recognized teaching certification.
- Previous experience teaching in international or blended curricula schools, preferably with IB and Cambridge programs.
- Ability to use educational technology and digital tools to enhance classroom instruction and learner engagement.
- Strong classroom management abilities, a learner-centered approach, and a commitment to inclusive, non-discriminatory teaching practices.
- Willingness to participate in co-curricular activities, school initiatives, and ongoing professional development.
