Our programs include English & Life Skills Labs, English for Employability, STEM in Schools, Early Childhood Learning, Social-Emotional Learning, Job Readiness, and Workplace Communication. About the Role
We are looking for an English & Life Skills Facilitator to conduct engaging and interactive sessions for school students. The role focuses on developing students' English communication, life skills, confidence, critical thinking, and social-emotional skills through activity-based and learner-centered methods.
The facilitator will work closely with schools and the Ignis team to deliver quality sessions, understand student needs, track progress, and continuously improve their teaching and facilitation skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct interactive English and Life Skills sessions for students.
- Use activity-based and learner-centered teaching methods instead of rote learning.
- Encourage students to participate, communicate, and express themselves confidently.
- Prepare lesson plans and maintain session and student records.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Build a positive and supportive classroom environment.
- Work closely with school teachers and the Ignis program team.
- Attend regular training and professional development sessions.
- Support curriculum improvement and program-related activities when required.
- Contribute to program reports and documentation.
- Interact with parents and other stakeholders when required.
- Travel to assigned schools across the Hyderabad region.
Requirements & Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in teaching, training, or facilitation, preferably with school students.
- Ability to engage with children and young adults and build a good rapport with them.
- Strong English speaking, writing, and teaching skills.
- Good communication and active listening skills.
- Ability to engage with children and young adults and build a good rapport with them.
- Experience in classroom management and activity-based teaching.
- Good lesson planning and basic assessment skills.
- A bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and participate in ongoing training.
- Approximately 75% travel within the Hyderabad region is required.
