The Role:
We are seeking an innovative English Language & Literature Teacher to deliver the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP). You will guide students through textual analysis, comparative essays, and the exploration of global literature, preparing them for success in their assessments and beyond.
Key Responsibilities:
· Plan and deliver engaging MYP & DP English lessons aligned with IB standards.
· Guide students through the DP individual oral commentary and written coursework.
· Foster a classroom environment that encourages inquiry, discussion, and independent thinking.
· Assess student progress using IB criteria and provide constructive, timely feedback.
· Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary units and school-wide initiatives.
What We’re Looking For:
· Bachelor’s degree in English Literature, Language, or related field (Master’s preferred).
· Proven experience teaching IB MYP and/or DP English (or equivalent rigorous curriculum).
· Strong classroom management and differentiation skills.
· Excellent written and verbal communication.
