Role Description The Engineering Manager Offshore Structures will lead and oversee the design and analysis of fixed and floating offshore structures, ensuring technical quality, safety, and compliance with industry standards. This full-time, on-site role located in Delhi, India involves managing engineering teams, reviewing structural calculations and design deliverables, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams for jackets, jack-up rigs, FPSO topsides, drillships, and semi-submersible topsides across fabrication, transportation, installation, and in-place conditions. The person in this role will plan and allocate resources, supervise project schedules, and maintain close communication with clients to clarify requirements, present design solutions, and address technical issues. Day-to-day responsibilities include guiding the use of specialized software, mentoring engineers, approving reports and drawings, and supporting subsea and marine engineering projects as needed. The role also requires contributing to internal best practices, quality assurance processes, and continuous improvement in design methodologies.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong offshore structural engineering skills, including design and analysis of jackets, jack-up rigs, topsides, and floating structures.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in relevant engineering software such as SACS, STAAD-PRO, ANSYS, SOLIDWORKS, and AUTOCAD.
- Candidates should possess project management and leadership skills, including team supervision, resource planning, schedule control, and coordination with clients and stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess strong knowledge of international offshore design codes and standards (e.g., API, ISO, DNV, ABS) and familiarity with industry best practices.
