About the Role
Delivering our academic programs are closer to shipping a live product every week than running a traditional timetable. Sessions, people, content and student experience must come together on time and at a consistently high bar. We’re looking for an Engineering Manager who can build systems from scratch, lead a large team, solve problems in real time and continuously improve delivery. You don’t need to be an academic. You need to be exceptional at making complex things work.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of 10+ people across hiring, coaching and performance
- Build the operating system for delivery, including planning, stand-ups, retrospectives and escalation rhythms
- Own session quality, consistency and the overall student experience
- Translate curriculum into clear sequencing, formats and delivery systems
- Use attendance, satisfaction and student outcomes to improve every cycle
- Work closely with Academics, Admissions, Student Success and Events
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience
- 3+ years of experience managing teams
- Experience leading teams of 10+ people
Required Skills
- A track record of owning complex, high-visibility projects end-to-end
- Strong systems thinking and comfort with ambiguity
- A hands-on approach, with the ability to move between strategy and execution
- A data-driven mindset and obsession with continuous improvement
- Ability to lead across functions, not only within a reporting line
- Genuine excitement about reimagining higher education
Preferred Skills
- Experience in EdTech, higher education or startups is helpful, but not required.
