Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Embedded Hardware Engineer role based in Mumbai. The Embedded Hardware Engineer will design, develop, and test electronic circuits and hardware solutions for embedded systems, ensuring reliability, performance, and compliance with specifications. Day-to-day responsibilities include schematic design, component selection, PCB design collaboration, hardware prototyping, and validation through debugging and testing. The role involves working with cross-functional teams to integrate hardware with firmware, support product development, and provide technical guidance on electronic components and hardware design best practices. The engineer will also document designs, maintain revision control, and support continuous improvement in hardware quality and manufacturability.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Hardware Development and Electronics Hardware Design.
- Candidates should possess solid capabilities in Circuit Design and general Hardware engineering.
- Candidates should possess a good understanding of Computer Hardware and related system architecture.
- Relevant skills such as embedded systems knowledge, PCB design tools (e.g., Altium, KiCad, Eagle), and familiarity with microcontrollers and interfaces (SPI, I2C, UART) are beneficial.
- A bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Experience in hardware testing, debugging with instruments (oscilloscope, multimeter, logic analyzer), and working with industry standards is advantageous.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment are important.
