Role Description The Electronics & Hardware Technician will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware components for embedded IoT products, RFID readers, and related systems. Day-to-day tasks include performing diagnostics, troubleshooting hardware faults, providing on-site technical support, and ensuring optimal performance of printers and other peripheral devices. The role involves collaborating with engineering teams to support product testing, documenting issues and resolutions, and assisting in preventive maintenance activities. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mangaluru, requiring regular interaction with internal teams and customers to resolve hardware and technical issues efficiently.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Hardware Installation and Hardware Support for embedded and peripheral devices.
- Candidates should possess effective Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills to diagnose and resolve electronics and hardware issues.
- Candidates should possess Printer Support capabilities, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of printing devices.
- Relevant skills such as basic electronics knowledge, familiarity with embedded systems, and understanding of IoT hardware will be beneficial.
- Diploma or degree in Electronics, Electrical, or related field, or equivalent practical experience in hardware maintenance and support.
- Ability to read technical documentation, use diagnostic tools, and follow safety and quality standards in a manufacturing environment.
- Good communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively on-site in Mangaluru.
