Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Electrical Engineer role based in Mundra. The Electrical Engineer will design, review, and implement electrical systems for industrial plants, infrastructure projects, and building construction, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and safety standards. Daily responsibilities include preparing electrical drawings and specifications, coordinating power distribution layouts, performing load calculations, and supporting commissioning activities at project sites. The role involves close collaboration with project managers, civil and mechanical engineers, contractors, and vendors to resolve technical issues and keep projects on schedule and within budget. The Electrical Engineer will also conduct inspections, contribute to risk assessments, and support continuous improvement in electrical design and installation practices.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Electrical Engineering principles, including electricity and electrical systems.
- Proficiency in Electrical Design and the use of relevant design and CAD tools.
- Experience with Power Distribution and Power Systems in industrial and infrastructure environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Knowledge of applicable electrical codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and schematics.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary project teams.
- Prior experience in construction or industrial plant projects is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to work on-site at project locations in Mundra.
