Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Electrical Engineer role based in Mangalagiri. The Electrical Engineer will design and review electrical systems for power transmission and distribution projects, including substations and 33/11 KV lines, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements. Daily responsibilities include preparing technical drawings and documentation, performing load calculations, coordinating with civil and project teams, and supporting installation, testing, and commissioning activities at project sites. The role also involves troubleshooting electrical issues, optimizing system performance, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure project milestones, quality benchmarks, and cost targets are met. The engineer will contribute to railway-related electrical infrastructure and support the integration of emerging technologies where applicable.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong knowledge of Electrical Engineering and Electricity fundamentals.
- Candidates should possess skills in Electrical Design for power infrastructure and related projects.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Power Distribution systems, including 33/11 KV lines.
- Candidates should possess experience working with Power Systems, including substations and transmission networks.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Experience in infrastructure, utilities, or railway electrical projects is highly beneficial.
- Familiarity with relevant Indian standards, safety regulations, and industry codes.
- Proficiency in electrical design and simulation software, and ability to read and create technical drawings.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to work on-site in Mangalagiri, collaborate in multidisciplinary teams, and manage project timelines.
