What Your Role Entails
To understand Electrical related requirements for different product range of Blue Star Ltd from respective Project leader and design required electrical system for HVAC product as per applicable standard.
What You’ll Do:
Electrical Deliverable for NPD:
- To understand electrical requirements of NPD projects by interacting with System Design Team and/or project leaders and ensure release of following Electrical deliverables for all product categories - Control Panel Design, Wiring Diagram, Harness Chart, Legend
- Ensure that deliverables are at par with or better than International competitors
Component Selection and design calculation :
- Selection of Switchgears, Cables, lugs, Softstarters and other related components based on requirement. Design and derating calculation based on defined standards.
Standard Compliance:
- Ensure to follow all required statutory standards like UL, CE, RoHS required for product development.
Process Enhancement :
- Automate process of electrical deliverables using relevant and latest softwares. Prepare, follow and enhance guidelines for all deliverables and process to ensure first time right, to ensure quality of product and to provide optimized solution.
VAVE :
- VAVE in products through ideas related to new Electrical components / alternate components, Control Panels
Technical Interaction / Support:
- Support / Interact with various CFT members like Vendor development, Manufacturing, Marketing, Service team for all electrical related requirement. To give training to manufacturing team, service team and vendors for any new Control Panel or relevant deliverable
Your success is grounded in
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience with Bachelor's of Engineering in Electrical
- Exposure to integration of Electrical Deliverables with Product
- Hands on experience on selection of switchgears, cables, lugs and related electrical components. Experience of using relevant software for preparing these deliverable and automate the process
- Experience of control panel design and cable routing and its related safety and other applicable standards.
- Knowledge of VFDs, Inverter Drives, softstarter, its selection.
- Understanding of all Statutory standards along with safety standards applicable for Electrical developments like UL, CE, etc.
- Knowledge of various EMI/EMC requirements related to electrical deliverables.
