About Blinq Mobility
Blinq Mobility is building battery-swapping technology for electric four-wheelers, enabling vehicles to get back on the road in 3 minutes instead of waiting to charge. We are looking for an engineer who enjoys building things, solving problems at the hardware level, and taking systems from prototype to real-world deployment.
About the Role
As an Electrical & Embedded Systems Engineer, you will work across the electrical and embedded systems of our vehicles and battery-swapping infrastructure.
This is a hands-on role. You will design, integrate, test, debug, and validate real systems, working closely with mechanical, firmware, and product teams.
What You'll Do
- Design, integrate, and validate electrical, electronic, and electromechanical systems
- Work with motors, motor drivers, sensors, actuators, controllers, and automation components
- Integrate batteries, embedded hardware, controllers, and communication networks
- Work with communication protocols such as CAN, RS232, RS485, etc.
- Build prototype setups and conduct experiments to validate system performance
- Test, troubleshoot, debug, and perform root-cause analysis across hardware and system-level issues
- Support integration of electrical and embedded systems across vehicles and battery-swapping infrastructure
- Collaborate closely with firmware, mechanical, and product teams during development
What We're Looking For
- B.Tech / M.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Robotics, Instrumentation, or a related field
- 1–3 years of relevant experience
- Strong fundamentals in electronics, embedded systems, robotics, automation, and electric vehicles
- Hands-on experience with DC/BLDC/servo/stepper motors, motor drivers, sensors, and actuators
- Familiarity with communication protocols such as CAN, RS232, RS485, etc.
- Experience with prototyping, debugging, testing, and electrical test equipment
- Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to work across disciplines
- Curious, self-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment
Freshers with exceptional hands-on projects are encouraged to apply.
If you enjoy building, debugging, and making hardware work, we'd love to hear from you.
