Engineer – Design Office for Industrial Projects

Job Summary
We are looking for an Engineer – Design Office for Industrial Projects to support the design, integration, testing, documentation, and execution of industrial electrical and electronic systems. The role involves working closely with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to deliver projects effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and wire electrical panels, integrating various components in-house.
- Prepare technical documentation and support onsite installations.
- Interpret mechanical and electrical drawings accurately.
- Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and inter-department teams for smooth project execution.
- Support system integration, troubleshooting, validation, and testing activities.
- Work with sensors, instrumentation, and electrical/electronic interfaces.
- Support supplier identification, evaluation, and onboarding for sensors and other project requirements.
- Travel domestically, up to 80% of the time, as required for project execution and onsite support.
Mandatory Skills
- Proficient in AutoCAD and SolidWorks for electrical schematic and design-related work.
- Strong design, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of basic electrical and electronics principles.
- Experience with National Instruments (NI) equipment.
- Knowledge of PCB fabrication processes, design reviews, and supplier coordination.
- Troubleshooting experience in Automotive ATE, HILS, and automation systems.
- Knowledge of the RF domain, preferably related to automotive applications.
- Basic knowledge of ISO documentation standards.
- Knowledge of sensor and transducer interfacing, instrumentation, and validation testing.
- Knowledge of digital signaling, including TTL, LVTTL, CMOS, and SERDES.
Desired Skills
- Experience working with pneumatic circuits.
- Familiarity with ESD-safe / clean-room production environments.
- Ability to identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers and sensors for engineering solutions.
- Knowledge of Avionics Communication Protocols, including MIL-STD-1553, ARINC, RS-422, and RS-485. (Include this requirement if agreed by the hiring team.)
- Exposure to system-level integration and validation.
- Good communication and coordination skills with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams.
