ROLE DESCRIPTION:We are looking for a detail-oriented E-Invoicing & Compliance Executive to support e-invoicing implementation and tax compliance activities across UAE, KSA, Oman, and Qatar.
The role involves hands-on work in master data cleansing, transaction-level analysis, ERP data validation, VAT treatment, and e-invoicing compliance. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with large datasets and handling detailed, repetitive compliance-related tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support e-invoicing implementation, system testing, and validation across GCC countries.
- Perform master data cleansing and standardization for customers, vendors, items, tax codes, and GL mappings.
- Review transactions and identify incorrect or inconsistent tax treatments.
- Validate VAT application, including standard-rated, zero-rated, exempt, and reverse-charge transactions.
- Support KSA ZATCA e-invoicing and other GCC compliance initiatives.
- Extract, validate, and clean data from ERP systems.
- Ensure accuracy of TRN records, tax codes, and invoice formats.
- Assist in resolving tax discrepancies and audit requirements.
- Maintain tax workings, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
- Monitor regulatory updates across GCC jurisdictions.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, OR professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CMA, CIMA, or equivalent.
- 2–4 years of experience in tax compliance or ERP tax configuration.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Excel and ERP systems, preferably Dynamics 365 Finance.
- Understanding of e-invoicing frameworks and VAT compliance.
- Strong analytical and data-handling skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage large datasets and repetitive, detail-intensive work.
- Ability to work independently and maintain accountability in a remote/hybrid environment.
