E-commerce Sales & Marketplace Growth Manager

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced E-commerce Sales & Marketplace Growth Manager to drive sales, revenue growth, marketplace performance, category growth, and online advertising activities. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in managing e-commerce marketplaces, developing sales strategies, optimizing product/category performance, and running performance-driven advertising campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow sales across major e-commerce marketplaces and online channels.
- Develop and execute strategies to achieve monthly and annual sales/revenue targets.
- Monitor marketplace performance, sales trends, pricing, inventory, and product visibility.
- Manage product listings, catalog quality, content, keywords, promotions, and overall marketplace presence.
- Plan and execute marketplace advertising and promotional campaigns to improve sales and ROI.
- Analyze category-level performance and identify opportunities for growth and expansion.
- Monitor competitors, pricing, promotions, rankings, and market trends.
- Coordinate with internal teams for inventory planning, product availability, pricing, and order fulfillment.
- Track key performance metrics such as sales, conversion rate, ROAS, ad spend, revenue, and profitability.
- Optimize advertising budgets and campaigns based on performance and business objectives.
- Identify underperforming products/categories and implement corrective strategies.
- Prepare regular sales, marketplace, and advertising performance reports for management.
- Build strong relationships with marketplace partners and ensure smooth business operations.
- Stay updated with marketplace policies, algorithm changes, new advertising tools, and e-commerce trends.
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of experience in E-commerce, Marketplace Sales, Category Management, or Digital/Marketplace Advertising.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce marketplace operations and sales processes.
- Experience in marketplace advertising, promotions, and performance optimization.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills with a target-oriented approach.
- Strong understanding of sales metrics, marketplace KPIs, and advertising performance.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.
- Ability to independently manage marketplace growth and achieve sales targets.
- Proficiency in MS Excel/Google Sheets and marketplace analytics/reporting tools.
Preferred Candidate
Candidates with hands-on experience in marketplace sales + category growth + marketplace advertising will be preferred.
