Role Overview
The E-commerce Marketplace Manager will own the end-to-end commercial growth and operational health of our brand across multiple e-commerce marketplaces. This role requires a unique balance of analytical marketing (PPC and SEO), meticulous inventory management, and premium brand storytelling to succeed in distinct mass-market and luxury digital environments.
Key Responsibilities
1. Growth & Channel Management
- Platform Performance: Drive monthly and quarterly revenue targets while maintaining healthy contribution margins on mass platforms like Amazon India and premium/luxury portals like Tata Cliq Luxury and Nykaa.
- Key Account Relations: Build and leverage strategic relationships with marketplace Category Managers to secure prime visibility, homepage banners, and participation in exclusive site events.
- Event Planning: Plan and execute commercial strategies for major platform sale events (e.g., Amazon Great Indian Festival, Nykaa Pink Friday Sales)
2. Cataloging & Premium Merchandising
- Listing Optimization: Own product discovery by executing high-quality marketplace SEO, writing clear descriptions, and managing A+ content / Brand Registry setups.
- Luxury Compliance: Ensure the brand maintains premium visual positioning on high-end nodes like Tata Cliq Luxury, matching exact formatting, imagery, and storytelling guidelines.
- Stock & Core Mapping: Coordinate with internal ERPs to ensure accurate mapping of SKU codes, style IDs, and marketplace listings.
3. Marketplace Advertising & Analytics
- Performance Marketing: Direct and optimize platform-specific ad budgets (Amazon Sponsored Ads, Nykaa native banners) to lower ACOS/TACOS while boosting ROAS.
- Data-Driven Adjustments: Review daily performance dashboards to adjust keyword bids, reprice dynamically to defend the "Buy Box", and react to competitor movements.
4. Operations & Supply Chain Sync
- Fulfillment Modeling: Manage diverse operational structures per platform, including Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA), Nykaa OD (On-Demand) models, and direct JIT (Just-In-Time) shipping for luxury goods.
- Stock Planning: Proactively forecast inventory requirements to prevent out-of-stock penalties while liquidating slow-moving batches.
- Account Health & Claims: Keep overall seller metrics high by monitoring order defect rates, keeping return percentages low, and resolving disputes or compliance flags directly with platform support
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience: 3–6 years of hands-on experience managing major online marketplace dashboards (Amazon Seller Central, Nykaa Supplier Portal, etc.).
- Tools: Expert familiarity with marketplace software like Helium 10, Jungle Scout, or SellerApp & Amazon Pi for keyword and market tracking.
- Analytical Skills: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets for profit reconciliation, data analysis, and margin forecasting.
- Adaptability: Proven capacity to shift strategy seamlessly from high-volume, discount-heavy mass platforms to protective, high-ASP (Average Selling Price) luxury marketplaces.
Level/Salary Range : INR 9-10 LPA
