Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Drone Pilot role based in Jaisalmer. The Drone Pilot is responsible for operating UAVs for security monitoring, surveillance, and site assessment in alignment with client requirements and company protocols. Daily tasks include pre-flight inspections, mission planning, safe piloting of drones, post-flight checks, and basic maintenance. The role also involves coordinating with security and operations teams, following safety and regulatory guidelines, documenting flight activities, and reporting any incidents or technical issues. The Drone Pilot may assist in training team members on safe drone operations and support continuous improvement of UAV-related procedures.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Drone Piloting and Piloting skills for safe and efficient UAV operations.
- Candidates should have practical experience working with Drones and UAV systems, including basic troubleshooting.
- Candidates should be capable of providing or supporting Training related to drone operation, safety, and compliance.
- Knowledge of aviation safety standards, local regulations, and no-fly zone compliance is beneficial.
- Good observational skills, situational awareness, and the ability to follow detailed operational procedures.
- Ability to work on-site in Jaisalmer, including in varying weather and field conditions.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary security and operations teams.
- Relevant certifications or licenses for drone/UAV operation, where required by law or industry standards, are an advantage.
