Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Drone Pilot role based in Dindigul. The Drone Pilot will operate agricultural drones for tasks such as field surveying, crop monitoring, spraying, and data collection in accordance with safety regulations and company procedures. Daily responsibilities include planning flight paths, conducting pre-flight checks, maintaining equipment, and documenting flight logs and operational reports. The role involves coordinating with field staff and farmers, interpreting basic field data, and supporting demonstrations or training sessions for drone usage. The Drone Pilot will also assist in routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of drone operations.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Drone Piloting and Piloting skills, with hands-on experience operating drones or UAVs.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Drones and UAV systems, including basic hardware, software, and safety protocols.
- Candidates should possess Training-related skills, with the ability to guide users or team members on safe and effective drone operations.
- Valid drone pilot certification or license (as per local regulations) is highly beneficial.
- Experience in agricultural or field operations, especially in rural settings, is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in varying weather conditions, follow safety standards, and maintain accurate records.
- Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with farmers, technicians, and internal teams.
- Basic computer literacy for flight planning, data logging, and reporting; willingness to learn new tools and technologies.
