🎓 Qualifications
- Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings and drafting standards
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines
💼 Experience
1–2+ years of experience in Mechanical Drafting
🛠️ Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate 2D mechanical drawings using AutoCAD
- Develop manufacturing, fabrication, and assembly drawings
- Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents
- Revise and update drawings based on engineering and client feedback
- Ensure drawings comply with company standards and industry practices
- Maintain drawing records and documentation
- Coordinate with design engineers and project teams
- Deliver high-quality work within project timelines
- Coordinate with existing vendors, negotiate and release of PO, follow up on the delivery dates
- Identify and establish new vendors
💻 Required Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Strong knowledge of mechanical drafting principles
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical engineering drawings
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Experience with SolidWorks or other CAD software
