Your area of work:
Role Summary:
- We are seeking a senior and strategically minded IT leader to take end-to-end ownership of Liquidity Management Systems and Finance Data Platforms within our Corporate Functions IT landscape.
- In this role, you will be accountable for the technology strategy, delivery, and operational excellence of critical Treasury capabilities, ensuring reliable liquidity visibility and high-quality finance data for a globally operating organization.
- You will act as a trusted partner to senior Finance leadership (e.g. Treasury, CFO organization), translating regulatory, financial, and business requirements into a robust, secure, and future proof technology and finance data roadmap. The role includes leadership of multiple units with team members located in Europe and Asia.
Your responsibilities:
Core responsibilities:
- Act as the strategic IT partner to senior finance stakeholders, defining and driving a multi-year technology and data roadmap aligned with finance strategy, regulatory requirements, and business transformation goals.
- Lead and transform a global organization by mentoring diverse teams, internalizing critical capabilities, and optimizing a global delivery footprint across Europe and Asia for talent, efficiency, and resilience.
- Collaborate closely with Finance IT leadership to ensure an integrated Corporate Finance IT landscape while overseeing key transformation programs, including treasury system modernization and the evolution of finance data platforms (e.g., SAP MDG).
- Ensure the stability, security, and compliance of systems by upholding strict operational standards and maintaining 24/7 reliability for critical global Treasury processes, including audit readiness.
- Hold full budget responsibility (CapEx/OpEx) while driving strategic vendor management, including negotiations and sourcing decisions to establish strong, long-term partnerships.
- Ensure that all finance and liquidity data solutions adhere to the highest standards of quality and integrity, while collaborating with the corporate data governance organization to ensure alignment with enterprise-wide data mesh principles and cataloguing strategies.
Your Qualifications/skills:
- 15+ years of distinguished experience in senior IT leadership roles that cover both functional and technical understanding, ideally with a proven background in the financial services industry (banking, capital markets, or exchange).
- Expert-level knowledge of Treasury IT systems and processes across front-, middle-, and back-office, combined with strong expertise in Finance IT architectures, SAP S/4HANA, and modern data platforms.
- Proven leadership in large-scale organizational, technology, and AI-driven data transformations, with a strong track record in building global delivery models, leading senior leaders, and influencing C-level stakeholders.
- You are a strategic and collaborative leader with the ability to build consensus, drive change, and foster strong partnerships across complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
- Experience may include senior roles in Corporate IT, Treasury IT, or top-tier consulting, combined with a strong history of execution in industry leadership positions.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English – German knowledge of advantage
