Location

ABOUT THE ROLE
We provide game development, art, co-development, and custom software services to studios, publishers and enterprises worldwide. We need a senior marketing leader who can turn marketing into a predictable, measurable pipeline engine for a long-cycle, high-ticket services business.
You will own the full marketing mandate: positioning, demand generation, content, SEO and AI-search visibility, paid media, ABM, events and marketing operations. You will be accountable for pipeline and revenue contribution, not just traffic and leads. This is a player-coach role: strategic enough to set direction with leadership, hands-on enough to audit, review and fix.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Strategy, Positioning & Planning
Build the annual and quarterly marketing plan, budget and forecast, tied to revenue targets and ideal customer profiles (ICPs).
Define positioning, messaging and differentiation by service line (game dev, art, co-dev, QA, software) and by segment (studios, publishers, enterprises).
Set quarterly OKRs with measurable key results, and run monthly reviews with leadership.
Own the marketing funnel model (MQL > SQL > Opportunity > Closed-won), with clear definitions agreed with Sales.
2. Demand Generation & Pipeline
Run a multi-channel inbound and outbound-support engine across organic, paid, email, events and partnerships.
Build and manage ABM programs: target account lists, tiering, personalised campaigns and sales-aligned plays.
Build lead scoring, nurture journeys and handoff SLAs with Sales to improve lead quality and speed-to-lead.
3. SEO & GEO (AI Search)
Lead organic strategy: keyword mapping by funnel stage, pillar-cluster architecture, technical health, on-page optimisation and content refresh cycles.
Run white-hat link building and digital PR, and manage Clutch, GoodFirms and DesignRush profiles and reviews.
Build visibility in AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity and similar tools through entity signals, structured data and answer-ready content.
Guide Development on Core Web Vitals, schema, indexation and site architecture.
4. Content & Thought Leadership
Own the content engine: blogs, case studies, whitepapers, original research, webinars, video and tools or
calculators.
Make sure every asset maps to an ICP, a funnel stage and a conversion path.
Build executive and brand thought leadership through LinkedIn, speaking slots, awards and industry publications.
5. Performance Marketing
Plan, direct and optimise Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads and retargeting.
Own CPL, cost per MQL, CAC and lead quality, and manage budget allocation across channels based on pipeline impact.
6. Events, Community & Brand
Plan event strategy (GDC, Gamescom, Devcom and others): pre-event outreach, on-site execution, post-event follow-up and ROI.
Grow brand presence on LinkedIn, YouTube and industry communities (Reddit, Discord and others).
7. Marketing Operations, CRO & Analytics
Own the CRM and marketing automation stack (HubSpot, Salesforce or Zoho), data hygiene and lead routing.
Drive conversion rate optimisation across landing pages, forms and CTAs through structured testing.
Set up and govern GA4, GTM, Search Console and dashboards (Looker Studio or similar), with multi-touch attribution.
Report pipeline, revenue contribution, CAC and ROI to senior leadership every month.
8. Leadership & Collaboration
Lead, hire and mentor a cross-functional team; set goals, review output and build capability.
Manage agencies and freelancers on scope, quality, cost and outcomes.
Partner with Sales, Business Development, Delivery and Leadership for case studies, account insights and shared targets.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
12+ years in digital and B2B marketing, with 6+ years in IT services, software outsourcing or game development.
Proven record of generating qualified inbound pipeline for long-sales-cycle, high-ticket services, backed by measurable results.
Strong hands-on understanding of SEO (technical, on-page, off-page), Google Ads and LinkedIn Ads, with the ability to audit and direct specialists.
Experience building ABM programs and working in close alignment with Sales.
Expertise with GA4, GTM, Search Console, an SEO tool (Ahrefs or Semrush) and a CRM/automation platform (HubSpot, Salesforce or Zoho).
Experience leading teams of 5+ and managing external agencies and budgets.
Experience marketing to the US, UK, EU and Middle East markets.
Strong communication, stakeholder management and executive reporting skills.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or Communications (MBA preferred).
Preferred
Understanding of the game development lifecycle and the studio/publisher ecosystem.
Exposure to GEO, AI-assisted content workflows and original research or digital PR.
Certifications: Google Ads, GA4, HubSpot.
