Role Description The Designer role is a full-time position based in Delhi, India, with a hybrid work arrangement that allows some work-from-home flexibility. In this role, the Designer will conceptualize and develop exhibition and trade show booth designs, including 2D layouts and 3D visualizations that align with client objectives and brand guidelines. The Designer will collaborate closely with project managers, sales teams, and fabrication partners to refine concepts, prepare presentation materials, and ensure designs can be executed within budget and timelines. Daily tasks include translating briefs into creative design solutions, preparing technical drawings and specifications, revising designs based on feedback, and maintaining design files in an organized manner. The role also involves staying current with design trends, materials, and technologies relevant to exhibitions, and contributing ideas to enhance overall visitor experience.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in exhibition, interior, or spatial design, with the ability to create engaging layouts and immersive environments.
- Proficiency in design and visualization tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite or similar software).
- Ability to translate client briefs into clear design concepts, mood boards, and presentation-ready visuals.
- Experience preparing technical drawings, material specifications, and production-ready files for fabrication teams.
- Effective collaboration and communication skills to work with cross-functional teams and present design concepts to stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
- Understanding of brand identity, visitor flow, ergonomics, and practical constraints in exhibition environments.
- Relevant academic background in Design, Architecture, Fine Arts, or a related field; industry experience in exhibitions, events, or retail environments is an advantage.
- Comfort working in a hybrid model from Delhi, India, with readiness for occasional on-site visits, client meetings, and event support.
