Job details:
- Lead end-to-end design of heavy adapted products, including solution selection, component sizing, and technical validation.
- Translate customer functional requirements into safe, reliable, cost-effective, and producible engineering solutions.
- Ensure compliance with applicable IEC/EN standards, destination-country requirements, product markings, and CE documentation.
- Prepare and maintain product codification, bills of materials, data plates, production cycles, technical files, and customer documentation.
- Define, coordinate, and validate product qualification tests conducted internally or through external suppliers and laboratories.
- Assess technical feasibility and support presales teams in developing competitive proposals aligned with product strategy.
- Manage suppliers with Purchasing, including technical specifications, supplier and product qualification, and component obsolescence.
- Drive continuous improvement through technical scouting, solution standardisation, design guidelines, knowledge sharing, and training.
