# Job Description: Design Manager – Valves Manufacturing
*Position:* Design Manager
*Industry:* Valves Manufacturing
*Experience Required:* 8–10 Years
*Salary:* Negotiable, based on interview and experience
*Location:* Relocation required
### Job Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the design and engineering team.
* Develop and review valve designs, drawings, and technical specifications.
* Ensure compliance with industry standards such as API, ASME, and ISO.
* Select suitable materials and components for valve manufacturing.
* Coordinate with production, quality, procurement, and sales teams.
* Review design calculations, BOMs, and manufacturing drawings.
* Improve product performance, quality, and cost efficiency.
* Support new product development and resolve technical issues.
* Ensure designs meet customer requirements and applicable standards.
### Required Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
* 8–10 years of relevant experience in the valve manufacturing industry.
* Strong knowledge of valve design, engineering standards, and manufacturing processes.
* Experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools.
* Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
### Other Requirements
* Must be willing to relocate.
* Salary will be decided based on the candidate's experience, technical expertise, and interview performance.
