Company Description Expanture Electrical & Automation Pvt. Ltd is a CPRI-approved LV control panel manufacturer and government-licensed electrical contractor based in the Pune Division. The company specializes in electrical warehouse layout design, panel manufacturing, site installation, HT/LT and transformer (DTC) installation, AMC services, and manpower supply. Expanture serves a wide range of sectors, including toll plazas, HVAC, STP, WTP, SPM, infrastructure, boilers, packaging, solar, and BMS. The organization is registered under PWD and MSEDCL for high- and low-tension electrical works, offering reliable, compliant solutions for industrial and infrastructure projects.
Role Description This is a full-time, hybrid role based in the Pune Division, with some flexibility for work-from-home. The Design Engineer & Estimation Engineer (Electrical) will be responsible for preparing electrical designs and layout drawings for LV control panels, warehouses, and related installations. Daily tasks include reviewing project specifications, performing load calculations, selecting appropriate equipment, and creating detailed CAD drawings and schematics. The role involves preparing technical proposals and cost estimations, coordinating with procurement and project teams, and supporting site installation and commissioning activities as needed. The engineer will collaborate with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure designs meet regulatory standards, project timelines, and budget requirements.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Design Engineering and Product Design skills for electrical systems and control panels.
- Candidates should possess Electrical Engineering expertise with practical knowledge of LV/HV systems and industrial installations.
- Candidates should possess Computer-Aided Design (CAD) proficiency for creating layouts, schematics, and detailed engineering drawings.
- Candidates should possess Mechanical Engineering understanding to integrate electrical panels and equipment into overall plant and warehouse layouts.
- Relevant technical degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Experience in panel design, estimation, and industrial or infrastructure projects is highly beneficial.
- Knowledge of applicable electrical standards, safety regulations, and utility requirements (e.g., PWD, MSEDCL) is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills, with the ability to work both on-site and remotely in a hybrid environment.
