DESIGN ENGINEER – JOB APPLICATION
On behalf of a leading multinational specializing in the development, manufacture, and installation of critical components and systems for the rail industry.
Location: Delhi, India
Experience: 2–5 Years

Key Responsibilities
• Create manufacturing- and assembly-ready 2D drawings from 3D CAD models.
• Prepare drawings in English and translated German versions using AI-assisted tools.
• Apply GD&T, ISO GPS standards, and function-oriented dimensioning and tolerancing.
• Define material, surface finish, heat treatment, and welding specifications (ISO 2553).
• Create and validate accurate Bills of Materials (BOM).
• Ensure compliance with applicable ISO/EN standards and customer requirements.
• Work with Autodesk Inventor / Vault PDM and follow CAD, PDF, naming, and revision-control requirements.
Job Specification
Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Experience: 2–5 years in mechanical design engineering, preferably rail, heavy engineering, or manufacturing
Core Skills: 2D/3D CAD detailing, GD&T, ISO GPS, BOM, welding symbols (ISO 2553)
Software: Autodesk Inventor, Vault PDM
Standards: Applicable ISO/EN and customer/project-specific requirements
Language: Strong written English; German preferred or willingness to use AI translation tools.
