Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Dermatologist role based in Krishnagiri. The Dermatologist will conduct outpatient and inpatient consultations, perform detailed skin examinations, diagnose dermatological conditions, and develop evidence-based treatment plans. Day-to-day responsibilities include prescribing medications and therapies, performing minor dermatological procedures, managing chronic skin disorders, and providing guidance on preventive care and skin health. The role also involves maintaining accurate medical records, collaborating with other healthcare professionals, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols, and participating in patient education and counseling. The Dermatologist is expected to stay current with advancements in dermatology, uphold high standards of ethics and patient safety, and contribute to a positive clinical environment.
Qualifications
- Relevant medical qualifications such as MBBS with MD or DDVL in Dermatology from a recognized institution, with valid medical registration.
- Demonstrated clinical experience in diagnosing and treating a wide range of dermatological conditions, including medical, cosmetic, and procedural dermatology.
- Strong skills in patient examination, history-taking, clinical decision-making, and treatment planning.
- Ability to perform common dermatological procedures (e.g., excisions, biopsies, cryotherapy, electrocautery, laser or cosmetic procedures as applicable).
- Proficiency in maintaining clear and accurate medical documentation and using electronic medical record systems where required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centric approach and ability to counsel individuals and families effectively.
- Commitment to ethical medical practice, infection control standards, and continuous professional development.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team, manage time effectively, and adapt to a structured clinical schedule.
- Prior experience in a hospital or clinic setting in dermatology is preferred; exposure to cosmetology or trichology is an added advantage.
- Comfort working on-site in Krishnagiri and engaging with a diverse patient population.
