Role Description The Deputy Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Jharsuguda. This role involves overseeing daily operations within the assigned department, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and supporting senior management in planning and execution. The Deputy Manager will monitor performance metrics, ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations, and help implement process improvements. Responsibilities include preparing reports, managing resources, guiding team members, and resolving operational issues in a timely and professional manner. The role also requires active participation in meetings, supporting decision-making, and maintaining accurate documentation.
Qualifications
- Strong operational management and coordination skills, with the ability to oversee day-to-day activities and support process improvements.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities, including comfort with data review, reporting, and performance tracking.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and guiding staff members.
- Organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain accurate documentation.
- Proficiency with standard office software and tools; familiarity with business process or ERP systems is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Commerce, Engineering, or a related field; relevant postgraduate qualifications are a plus.
- Demonstrated experience in a supervisory or assistant manager/deputy manager role, preferably in an operations or corporate environment.
- Ability to work on-site in Jharsuguda and adapt to a structured, process-driven work setting.
