Role Description The Deputy General Manager for Canada Opportunities is a full-time, on-site role based in Canada. The position is responsible for overseeing operations related to Canada immigration consulting, including managing client portfolios, guiding them through eligibility assessments, documentation, and submission processes, and ensuring high-quality advisory services. The role involves leading and mentoring consulting teams, setting performance standards, and implementing best practices to maintain service excellence. The Deputy General Manager will collaborate with management on business development initiatives, maintain up-to-date knowledge of Canadian immigration policies, and support strategic planning to expand Canada-related service offerings. Daily tasks include client meetings, coordination with internal stakeholders, performance reporting, and continuous improvement of operational workflows.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience supervising consulting or client-facing teams.
- Proficiency in client relationship management, including handling complex inquiries and providing clear, empathetic guidance.
- Sound understanding of Canadian immigration processes, regulations, and documentation requirements, or willingness to quickly acquire this expertise.
- Excellent communication skills in English, including the ability to present, negotiate, and write professional documentation.
- Demonstrated ability in operations management, workflow optimization, and performance monitoring.
- Experience in the immigration, visa consulting, legal, or international education sector is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Management, or a related field; advanced qualifications are an advantage.
