IILM University, Gurugram, invites applications from a dynamic and accomplished academic leader for the position of Dean – School of Computer Science, AI & Engineering.
The School offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes across Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing, and other emerging technology domains. With a growing student community, strong industry engagement, and a focus on innovation and research, the School is entering an exciting phase of growth.
The Dean will provide strategic, academic, and operational leadership, driving the School’s growth, academic excellence, research impact, industry relevance, and global engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and academic leadership to a growing School of Computer Science, AI & Engineering.
- Lead the development and integration of Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing, and emerging technologies across academic programmes and research.
- Drive curriculum innovation aligned with industry requirements, technological advancements, and global best practices.
- Strengthen faculty development, research excellence, publications, funded projects, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Enhance student outcomes through internships, experiential learning, entrepreneurship, industry projects, and placement opportunities.
- Support accreditation, quality assurance, rankings, and institutional excellence initiatives.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, or a closely related discipline from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 20 years of experience in academia, industry, or a combination of both, with significant academic/leadership experience.
- Strong commitment to student success, faculty excellence, innovation, research, and institutional development.
