📢 WE ARE HIRING – DCS ENGINEER (SYMPHONY PLUS – S+)
📍 Location: Bengaluru
🏢 Work Mode: Work from Office
💼 Experience: 4+ Years
⏳ Notice Period: Immediate / 30 Days
🎓 Qualification: B.E/B.Tech/M.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation or Mechatronics
🔧 Key Responsibilities:
* Responsible for engineering, testing (FAT/SAT) and commissioning of ABB Symphony Plus (S+) DCS systems.
* Perform loop checking, start-up activities and site deployment.
* Develop and configure logic using Harmony Controllers (HCP800/CW800) and SD series I/O modules.
* Design and customize HMI graphics.
* Integrate field devices and configure communication protocols/drivers.
* Handle S+ Operations including alarms, events, logs, trends and Historian data.
* Install and configure S+ systems in domain and workgroup environments.
* Independently handle client requirements related to engineering, service and commissioning support.
🛠️ Mandatory Technical Skills:
* ABB Symphony Plus (S+) DCS Engineering & Commissioning
* Logic Development for Harmony Controllers
* Communication protocols – HART, OPC UA, Modbus, Profibus, IEC 60870-5-101/103/104, IEC 61850
* Troubleshooting of Windows Domain, security configuration, Historian and Web Servers
* Hands-on experience with S+ Engineering & S+ Operations
➕ Additional Advantage:
* Understanding of Electrical & Instrumentation interfaces
* Experience with controller integration such as INFI 90, Melody (AC870P), Freelance, AC500 and PROTOCONTROL P14
* Knowledge of turbine protection modules such as TP800, VP800 and MCM800
* Strong site commissioning experience in process industries
🏭 Preferred Industry Exposure:
Industrial Automation / Process Industries such as Power Plants, Cement, Mining, Metals, Oil & Gas, etc.
