Role Description The Data Science Trainer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Hyderabad. The trainer will design and deliver structured data science training programs, including lectures, hands-on lab sessions, and project-based learning for students and working professionals. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans and course materials, explaining core concepts in statistics, programming, and machine learning, and guiding learners through practical datasets and tools. The role involves assessing learner progress, providing feedback, conducting tests or assignments, and updating course content to reflect current industry practices. The trainer will collaborate with the academic team to support curriculum development, participate in workshops or seminars, and contribute to career readiness activities such as interview preparation and project mentoring.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Science Education and subject-matter expertise, with the ability to connect concepts to real-world data science applications.
- Candidates should possess a solid foundation in Mathematics and related quantitative skills to teach statistics, probability, and analytical methods effectively.
- Candidates should possess relevant teaching credentials as a Qualified Teacher and demonstrate experience in classroom instruction or training.
- Candidates should possess effective Lesson Planning skills, including structuring modules, designing assessments, and creating engaging learning activities.
- Candidates should possess practical knowledge of data science tools and languages (such as Python/R, SQL, machine learning frameworks) and industry practices.
- Candidates should possess strong communication, presentation, and mentoring skills to support diverse learners with varying levels of experience.
- Candidates should possess a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Candidates should possess experience in delivering training or working on real-world data science projects; industry certifications in data science or analytics are an added advantage.
