Role Overview
We are hiring Data Consumer Analysts to support a strategic migration from an on-premise Data Warehouse to an AWS S3-based Cloud Data Warehouse.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Data Warehousing, Data Lakes, Data Migration, AWS S3, SQL, and Python, along with the ability to analyze data dependencies, data lineage, and downstream consumer impacts.
Key Responsibilities
- Discover and document reports, applications, BI pipelines, and business users consuming enterprise data.
- Analyze and map end-to-end data lineage and dependencies.
- Validate active data usage patterns and identify obsolete dependencies.
- Analyze SQL queries, access logs, and usage trends.
- Support migration planning and risk identification.
- Work with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements.
- Create dependency maps, migration documentation, and impact assessments.
- Automate discovery and analysis processes using Python.
- Support cloud migration initiatives involving AWS S3 and Data Lakes.
