We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst – Climate Smart Agriculture to support data-driven initiatives focused on climate-smart agriculture, fertilizer optimization, sustainability, and agricultural research.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean, manage, and analyze agriculture, fertilizer, crop, soil, and climate-related datasets
- Conduct statistical analysis and modelling using Python and R
- Analyze fertilizer optimization and nitrogen-use efficiency data
- Develop dashboards, visualizations, reports, and presentations
- Support monitoring & evaluation, surveys, and research studies
- Collaborate with agronomy, research, government, NGO, and implementation teams
- Translate complex data into actionable insights for decision-making
Required Skills:
- 3–5 years of experience in Data Analysis, Statistical Modelling, or Research Analytics
- Strong hands-on experience with Python and R
- Strong knowledge of data cleaning, statistical analysis, and modelling
- Experience with data visualization and dashboards
- Exposure to agriculture, climate, environment, or sustainability datasets is preferred
- Knowledge of Power BI / Tableau is an advantage
- Exposure to geospatial data or monitoring & evaluation is a plus
- Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills
Qualification:
- Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Agricultural Economics, Agronomy, Environmental Science, Computer Science, or a related discipline
