About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst with strong SQL expertise and sharp analytical thinking to help solve real business problems through data-driven insights. The ideal candidate is a proactive team player who thrives both in collaborative settings and independent work, consistently delivering high-quality analysis and solutions that drive decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Write complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources.
- Translate business questions into structured analytical approaches and deliver actionable insights.
- Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and data models to support business stakeholders
- Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to inform business strategy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (business, engineering, product) to understand data requirements.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and quality across analyses and deliverables.
- Present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Work independently on assigned projects while contributing effectively within a team environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with SQL (complex joins, aggregations, window functions, query optimization).
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Working knowledge of AWS or other cloud-based data platforms.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
- Prior experience in the Insurance domain or Insurance-related data projects (claims data, underwriting data, policy administration systems, etc.).
- Familiarity with Python or scripting languages for data manipulation.
- Exposure to ETL pipelines and data warehousing concepts.
