💼 Role Description:
We are looking for a Cybersecurity Trainer who can effectively deliver engaging, practical, and industry-relevant cybersecurity training to students and learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct classroom and hands-on cybersecurity training sessions
- Deliver practical demonstrations and lab-based exercises
- Train students on fundamental cybersecurity concepts, tools, and techniques
- Guide students through cybersecurity labs, assignments, and projects
- Mentor students in developing practical cybersecurity skills
- Conduct assessments, quizzes, and practical evaluations
- Assist in developing and improving training materials and lab exercises
- Stay updated with current cybersecurity technologies, tools, and industry trends
- Support cybersecurity awareness programs, workshops, and academic activities
- Encourage students to participate in CTFs, cybersecurity competitions, and practical learning activities
🎓Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field
- Good understanding of Cybersecurity concepts and fundamentals
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Passion for teaching, mentoring, and working with students
- Ability to conduct practical and hands-on training sessions
Preferred / Added Advantage:
- Optional Industry certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, or equivalent
- Knowledge of Linux, Networking, Web Security, Ethical Hacking, or Digital Forensics
- Hands-on experience with cybersecurity tools and lab environments
- Previous experience in cybersecurity training or academic teaching
- Participation in CTFs, cybersecurity projects, or security competitions
