About us
Interconnections is a performance marketing agency. We run paid ads, mostly on Meta, for ecommerce and lead-gen brands, most of them based in the US. AI is built into how we work, from reporting to research to creative, and we're looking for a creative strategist who works the same way.
The role
You'll join our creative team, reporting to our Creative Lead, and help shape what our ads say: which angle to test, which hook opens the video, what the script says, and whether last week's batch actually worked. You'll also write email copy for our clients. You'll use AI to move several times faster than a traditional copywriter, and your own judgement to make sure what ships is genuinely good, not generic.
How you'll use AI here
• Mine customer reviews, Reddit threads and competitor ads to find angles and real customer language in hours, not days
• Draft dozens of hooks and script variations per concept, then cut them down to the few worth testing
• Build reusable prompts, Claude Projects or custom GPTs for each brand, so every brief starts from what we already know
• Mock up concepts with AI image and video tools before anything goes to a designer or creator
• Keep improving the workflow: when you find a better tool or a better prompt, you share it with the team
What you'll do
• Write scripts for UGC, creator and founder-led video ads, plus headlines and copy for static ads
• Write email copy for campaigns and automated flows
• Judge ads, both ours and competitors': spot why one works, why another flops, and what to try next
• Review performance with our media buyers (hook rate, hold rate, cost per purchase, return on ad spend) and help decide which angles to scale and which to retire
• Turn briefs into clear direction for designers, editors and creators, so what gets filmed matches what was planned
You'll be a great fit if you
• Use AI tools every day and can walk us through your actual workflow, prompts included
• Can tell when AI output is bland or generic, and know how to push it until it isn't
• Have 2+ years writing ads or email copy for DTC or ecommerce brands, at an agency or in-house
• Know the difference between an ad that gets clicks and one that gets sales
• Write sharp, natural English for a US audience
• Are comfortable with numbers: you won't run the ad account, but you'll need to read it
• Are happy working 4 PM to 12 AM IST
Nice to have
• Hands-on experience with AI image, video or voice tools.
• Experience with Klaviyo or another email platform
• Experience briefing UGC creators or casting actors
How to apply
Please include:
• 2 or 3 ads, video scripts or emails you've written (links are perfect), with a line on how each performed if you know
• A few lines on how you use AI in your writing: which tools, and how they fit into your process
Shortlisted candidates will get a small assignment: one email and a 20-second, ready-to-shoot video ad script. AI is welcome on it, and we'd love to see how you work with it.
Thank you for your interest, and we're looking forward to hearing from you!
