About KassKass is a premium D2C skincare brand built around Bio-Intelligent Skincare - thoughtfully formulated solutions designed to address skin concerns at their foundation and support long-term skin health.Building a premium brand goes far beyond creating pretty graphics. It requires a distinctive visual language, a cohesive brand ecosystem, and high-velocity operational pipelines that consistently deliver theatrical-grade assets. We are looking for a Creative/Design Head who understands how modern, premium D2C brands operate, commands the production floor, and knows how to lead a multidisciplinary creative department to drive tangible brand scale.
The RoleAs the Creative/Design Head, you will own Kass’s entire visual and creative direction across all touchpoints - digital performance campaigns, brand films, 3D simulations, physical packaging, and retail presence. You will lead, mentor, and direct a high-output multidisciplinary team (video editors, 3D motion artists and graphic designers), acting as the ultimate strategic and aesthetic filter for the brand. Beyond creative leadership, you will build and optimize the operational pipelines and automations that allow the team to scale output without sacrificing a premium, "million-dollar" brand finish.
Key Responsibilities1. Creative Direction & Brand Architecture- Define, protect, and evolve Kass’s overall visual identity and brand guidelines across digital, physical packaging, e-commerce, and offline touchpoints.
- Translate complex, clinical, and bio-intelligent formulations into sophisticated, scroll-stopping narratives and high-converting visual assets.
- Ensure every frame, static, and render meets an uncompromising, premium aesthetic standard.
2. Multidisciplinary Team Leadership- Direct, mentor, and maintain rigorous quality control over a high-output creative floor comprising Video Editors, Graphic Designers and 3D Motion Artists.
- Act as the primary strategic filter for all campaigns—reviewing daily cuts, static creatives, narrative hooks, and 3D explainers to eliminate friction before deployment.
- Plan, delegate, and manage project workflows based on priorities, launch timelines, and individual strengths, fostering a culture of ownership and execution speed.
3. Production & On-Set Command- Bridge practical filmmaking with digital post-production—lead on-set shoots, direct macro camera setups and lighting, and establish a rich, organic visual vocabulary for new product drops.
- Supervise high-fidelity post-production, including dynamic motion tracking, kinetic typography, and seamless 3D/CGI product integration.
- Lead the production of both top-of-funnel cinematic brand films and rapid-iteration performance creatives (Reels, Meta ads, short-form video).
4. Pipeline Architecture & Workflow Optimization- Build, maintain, and streamline the department’s operational backbone, designing organizational systems and workflows that eliminate creative bottlenecks.
- Integrate modern automation tools, node-based workflows, and emerging AI technologies into daily production to exponentially scale asset variations and multiply team efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with Marketing, Performance, Product, and Operations to translate commercial goals into actionable creative solutions with minimal turnaround time.
What We’re Looking For- Proven Leadership: Demonstrated track record leading, managing, and mentoring a multidisciplinary creative or design team in a high-velocity environment (D2C, agency, or high-growth consumer brand).
- Aesthetic & Technical Mastery: Advanced proficiency across Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator) with strong working knowledge of 3D workflows, motion graphics, and emerging AI creative tools.
- On-Set Production Eye: Solid understanding of cinematography, lighting, framing, and macro product shooting.
- Systems Thinker: Someone who doesn’t just design, but builds scalable pipelines, templates, and automated workflows to elevate the entire department’s output.
- D2C Performance Sense: Deep intuition for modern consumer psychology, thumb-stopping hooks, retention pacing, and conversion-focused design.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Design, Animation, Visual Communication, or an equivalent battle-tested industry portfolio.
Why Kass?At Kass, creative production is not an afterthought—it is the central engine of our brand equity and customer acquisition. If you have the vision to shape a rapidly scaling skincare brand and the operational muscle to lead a high-performing creative floor, we’d love to hear from you.
