Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in Kolkata. The Video Editor will be responsible for editing raw footage into polished videos for digital campaigns, social media, advertisements, and brand content. Daily tasks include organizing and trimming footage, synchronizing audio, applying transitions and effects, and refining pacing to align with creative briefs. The role also involves collaborating with creative and marketing teams, incorporating motion graphics and color grading, and preparing final deliverables in appropriate formats for various platforms. The Video Editor will maintain brand consistency, manage project timelines, and stay updated on current video trends and editing techniques.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production for digital marketing and branded content.
- Proficiency in Video Color Grading to ensure visual consistency and high-quality aesthetics.
- Experience with Motion Graphics and Graphics to enhance storytelling and engagement.
- Hands-on experience with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro).
- Ability to interpret creative briefs, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage multiple projects under deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail, visual storytelling ability, and understanding of social media and digital platform requirements.
- Relevant coursework or degree in Film, Media, Design, or a related field is preferred; a strong portfolio of video work is required.
- Willingness to work on-site in Kolkata and adapt to a fast-paced agency environment.
