Role Description The Counselor Health Care – GCC Prometric role is a full-time, on-site position based in Kochi. The counselor will guide healthcare professionals through the GCC Prometric exam process, including eligibility checks, documentation support, application submission, and scheduling. Daily responsibilities include providing accurate information on licensing requirements, advising candidates on exam preparation resources, and maintaining organized records of candidate progress. The role also involves responding to inquiries via phone, email, and in person, coordinating with internal teams and external authorities when needed, and ensuring a smooth, supportive experience for each candidate. The counselor is expected to uphold Astra International’s standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and service quality.
Qualifications
- Ability to clearly explain GCC Prometric and healthcare licensing procedures and guidelines to candidates.
- Strong organizational skills for managing documentation, applications, and candidate records.
- Effective communication and counseling skills, with a client-focused and empathetic approach.
- Proficiency in using computers, online portals, and basic office software for application processing.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling compliance-related information and timelines.
- Experience in healthcare recruitment, licensing support, or education counseling is an advantage.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and coordinate with external agencies when required.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; a background in healthcare, HR, or counseling is preferred.
- Comfort working in a structured, on-site office environment in Kochi.
