Role Description
We are looking for a skilled and solution-oriented Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain reliable software applications and systems. The role involves translating business and technical requirements into scalable software solutions while ensuring performance, security, maintainability, and overall product quality.
Key responsibilities include analyzing requirements, designing software components, developing clean and efficient code, conducting code reviews, debugging technical issues, and implementing appropriate testing practices. The Software Engineer will collaborate with product managers, designers, analysts, QA professionals, and other technical teams to deliver solutions that meet functional and business requirements.
The role also involves maintaining existing applications, identifying opportunities for technical improvements, optimizing application performance, integrating APIs and external services, and contributing to software architecture and development standards. The successful candidate will support continuous improvement throughout the software development lifecycle and help build secure, reliable, and user-focused digital solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Strong understanding of software development principles, programming concepts, data structures, and algorithms.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, C++, or Go.
- Familiarity with object-oriented programming, software design patterns, and clean coding practices.
- Understanding of databases, SQL, data modeling, and application data management.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, web services, and system integration concepts.
- Knowledge of version control systems such as Git and collaborative development workflows.
- Understanding of software testing, debugging, deployment, and application maintenance practices.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, containers, or DevOps practices is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to software quality, security, and maintainability.
