Role Description The Content Writer role at Placement Point Solutions is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. The Content Writer will develop clear, engaging, and accurate content for the institute’s website, course pages, blogs, email campaigns, and social media channels. Responsibilities include researching technology topics, understanding training offerings, and translating complex concepts into accessible content for prospective learners and working professionals. The role involves planning and updating content in line with marketing strategies, collaborating with trainers and the marketing team, and ensuring brand consistency and adherence to style guidelines. Day-to-day tasks also include proofreading and revising existing content, optimizing content for search engines, and maintaining a content calendar to support ongoing campaigns and initiatives.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Web Content Writing and general Writing skills, with the ability to explain technical topics in a clear, user-friendly manner.
- Candidates should possess Content Strategy and Research skills to plan, structure, and support high-quality, informative content.
- Candidates should possess solid Proofreading skills to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency across all written materials.
- Candidates should have familiarity with technology domains such as Data Science, AI, ML, Cloud, or Programming, or a strong interest and ability to learn these areas.
- Candidates should have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and strong attention to detail.
- Candidates should be comfortable working on-site in Chennai, collaborating with trainers and the marketing team, and managing multiple projects with deadlines.
- A bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field is preferred; prior experience in educational, training, or technology content is an advantage.
