Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled, detail-oriented, and experienced University Admissions Content Writer with strong knowledge of Ivy League and highly selective university admissions.
The Content Writer will work closely with students, counsellors, and mentors to draft, edit, and refine:
- Statements of Purpose
- Personal statements
- University application essays
- UCAS personal statements and application content
- University-specific supplementary essays
- Letters of Recommendation
- Student profiles and achievement narratives
- Scholarship and programme-specific essays
- Ivy League and highly selective university supplemental essays
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, edit, and refine Statements of Purpose, personal statements, application essays, and other admissions-related documents.
- Develop and refine application essays for Ivy League institutions and other highly selective universities in the United States.
- Develop UCAS personal statements aligned with the student’s academic interests, subject choice, experiences, and future goals.
- Write and refine university-specific supplementary essays based on individual prompts, requirements, and word limits.
- Support students with Common Application essays, motivation letters, scholarship essays, and programme-specific responses.
- Draft and refine Letters of Recommendation based on inputs provided by teachers, school counsellors, mentors, and institutional representatives.
- Ensure that LORs accurately represent the student’s academic abilities, personal qualities, achievements, and potential.
- Conduct discussions with students and counsellors to understand academic journeys, extracurricular activities, internships, projects, challenges, and career aspirations.
- Convert student inputs into clear, structured, authentic, and engaging narratives.
- Adapt application content according to the expectations of universities in the UK, USA, Europe, Singapore, Hong Kong, the UAE, and other destinations.
- Ensure that all admissions content is original, factually accurate, ethically compliant, and consistent with the student’s individual voice.
- Review essays and documents for clarity, structure, relevance, grammar, coherence, and impact.
- Manage multiple student applications and meet university-specific submission deadlines.
Candidate Requirements
- Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and storytelling skills.
- Previous experience as an Ivy League admissions writer, university application essay writer, admissions consultant, education counsellor, or editorial professional.
- Excellent command of written English, grammar, sentence structure, and vocabulary.
- Ability to understand individual student profiles and translate them into authentic and compelling narratives.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Journalism, Mass Communication, Liberal Arts, Education, Psychology, or a related discipline.
- Candidates from other academic backgrounds with strong professional or admissions-writing experience may also apply.
Work Schedule
Working Days: Tuesday to Sunday
Working Hours: 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM
Weekly Off: Monday
Work Mode: On-site at the South Extension I office, New Delhi

Reports to: Counselling and Content Team
Compensation
Compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s qualifications, writing proficiency, admissions-writing experience, and organizational policy.
