About BabyBillion
BabyBillion is building a safe, smart and engaging learning platform for young children aged 2–8.
We create and curate short-form content across stories, rhymes, learning, habits, festivals, moral lessons and everyday skills. Our goal is to build one of India's largest and highest-quality kids content libraries while keeping the experience completely ad-free and parent-friendly.
We are looking for a Content Operations Manager who can take complete ownership of our content supply chain, from sourcing content to making sure it is correctly uploaded, organized, tagged and live on the app.
What You'll Own
You will own the entire BabyBillion content operations pipeline.
Your job is to make sure we always have enough good content coming in, and that every piece of content moves smoothly from sourcing to being perfectly live on the app.
Content Sourcing
- Manage content sourcing across both internal and external sources.
- Build and maintain a continuous content sourcing dump from creators, partners, agencies, internal teams, existing libraries and other relevant sources.
- Identify and shortlist high-quality content that fits BabyBillion's audience, quality standards and content requirements.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external creators/content partners to collect and organize content.
- Track the complete sourcing pipeline and ensure there is always sufficient content available for publishing.
Content Operations & Library Management
- Own and maintain the entire BabyBillion content library.
- Manage the complete journey of content from Sourced → Reviewed → Processed → Uploaded → Tagged → Live.
- Upload videos and maintain accurate titles, descriptions, thumbnails, categories, sub-categories, age groups, languages and tags.
- Ensure every piece of content is properly categorized and mapped to the right playlists, collections and content buckets.
- Maintain clean and accurate content databases and documentation.
- Identify content gaps and work on sourcing content to fill those gaps.
- Ensure the library remains organized, fresh, relevant and scalable as the number of videos grows.
App Content Management
- Make sure every piece of content is correctly visible and functioning on the BabyBillion app after publishing.
- Regularly audit the app to identify missing, incorrectly tagged, duplicated, outdated or incorrectly displayed content.
- Check thumbnails, titles, categories, playlists and other content metadata on the live app.
- Coordinate with Product, Design and Tech teams to resolve content-related issues.
- Ensure new content goes live on time and according to the publishing plan.
Content Quality & Process
- Maintain high standards for content quality, relevance and age appropriateness.
- Build simple and efficient processes for managing a growing content library.
- Create systems that reduce manual errors and make content operations faster.
- Track content status and ensure nothing gets stuck unnecessarily in the pipeline.
- Continuously improve the way content is sourced, organized, published and managed.
What We're Looking For
- 2–5 years of experience in content operations, content management, digital media, OTT, YouTube, edtech, kids content or a similar role.
- Strong experience managing large volumes of digital content.
- Excellent attention to detail. You naturally notice when something is missing, incorrectly tagged, duplicated or not displaying properly.
- Strong understanding of content categorization, metadata, tagging and content organization.
- Comfortable working extensively with spreadsheets, databases, CMS tools and content management systems.
- Strong execution and follow-through.
- Ability to coordinate with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- Comfortable working independently and taking complete ownership of a process.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment.
Good to Have
- Experience in kids content, edtech, OTT, YouTube or short-form video.
- Experience working with external creators, content partners or agencies.
- Experience managing a CMS or large digital content library.
- Familiarity with content analytics and performance metrics.
- Experience using AI tools for content operations, metadata, thumbnails or content workflows.
